Wow, what a smart move by Interlink Supply, an industry supplier for carpet cleaning and restoration products, by having the Planning to Win session in Las Vegas. I was glad to get out of Columbus, OH for a few days. I love sharing a few restoration marketing and water damage marketing ideas.

I am at Mikey's Fest, a really good grassroots carpet cleaning event. Mike owns Connoisseur, a Santa Cruz carpet cleaning company, and the creator of a pretty hot industry bulletin board.

This Google marketing is getting really interesting. At a recent seminar some attendees complained about how their listings are all over the map, and I'm not talking Google Maps. One day, on page 1. Next day, on page 3. I think someone at Google is having fun at our expense! The solution? Either you pay someone monthly fees to keep up with the ever-changing Internet marketing landscape, or you play the Internet game yourself and do your own marketing. For me, that's fun and a challenge.
